The weather has well and truly reached beach-going status, so, here are a handful of swimwear brands to get your togs sorted this season.
The start of a new summer season calls for a new cossie to greet the Aussie beaches, pools and swimming holes you'll surely be frequenting! Magda Burtrym
Original, romantic and powerful are what we can say about Magda Butrym.
The self-titled brand was founded in 2014 by Magda Butrym with a strong desire to empower women through design. Starting in Warsaw, Poland, over the last 9 years, she has put the brand name on the global fashion map, being loved by many women in the world. It was born out of Magda Butrym’s passion for fashion and love for people. She knows and cares about how to encourage women to “be your own muse”. That is the core of Magda Burtrym.
When it comes to her swimwear offering, Burtrym offers the same electric way of design and empowering the female protagonist she so desperately wishes to celebrate. Just as with her Ready-to-Wear, expect fun, flounce and a whole bunch of prints when shopping Magda Burtrym swim.

With over 50 years in the fashion industry under her very notched belt, Norma Kamali is to fashion as what M.A.C. is to beauty, a total pioneer.

When it comes to Norma Kamali beachwear, we’ve been impressed with her output since it’s inception way back in 1974 (I wasn’t yet born, but if I had been, impressed I would be!).
Since she began designing back in the 70’s, which was a beyond formative time for bathers and it’s history, Kamali has continuously given nod to the 40s pin-up silhouette.
Relying on retro silhouettes like the ones enjoyed by our grandmothers, Kamali breaths new modern and contemporary life into these shapes thanks to bold fabrics, cutout details and statement colours.
I am simply enamoured by the Walter Mio Strapless Rouched Swimsuit in this impeccable lavender colour as its a humble nod to the 50’s whilst offering all the luxuries and support we require in the age of 2023. Just splendid!
