The original E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.2m not only replicated the look of the original U.S. Navy trainer, but also came right out of the box with functional flaps and retractable landing gear. This updated version is even better equipped - it's the smartest, most powerful and easiest to fly fully-equipped T-28 model yet! The 3S and 4S compatible power system includes a specially tuned motor and 70A Smart Lite ESC, allowing advanced pilots a scale and sport flying style or allowing experienced pilots higher airspeed and energetic aerobatic maneuvers. The BNF® Basic version also includes a telemetry-enabled AR631 receiver with AS3X® technology - and now with optional SAFE® Select technology, making it even easier to fly than the original! This makes this T-28 Trojan 1.2m the smartest "next step" after a trainer and the first fully equipped warbird for a wide range of pilots.

This E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.2m has been updated and upgraded to be the smartest, most powerful and easiest to fly model of the popular warbird yet! Like the original version, it features functional flaps and retractable landing gear, making it a true full-featured warbird model. The factory-installed brushless power system features a custom-tuned motor, 3-blade propeller and 70A Spectrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite ESC, which combine with a 3S LiPo battery for plenty of thrust, or with a 4S LiPo battery without modifications or upgrades for higher airspeed and nearly unlimited vertical climb performance. With a compatible receiver (like the AR631 included in the BNF® Basic version) and Smart or non-Smart batteries, the Smart Lite ESC can provide a variety of real-time telemetry data from the propulsion system, including motor RPM, current, battery voltage, and more for Spektrum AirWare™-equipped transmitters. The AR631 receiver installed in the base BNF also includes exclusive AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies that help make this model a perfect "next step" or first warbird for anyone who has successfully mastered entry-level model flying with their trainer model. The durable airframe features a wealth of scale details, including sheet metal joints, an instrument panel and a pilot figure, and comes from the factory in the iconic red and white color scheme with updated nose art and markings. It can be flown by experienced pilots on small fields and flown by advanced pilots on traditional model airfields and other large fields. The 1.2m size allows for easy storage and transportation without disassembly, or alternatively the one-piece wing is easily disassembled for even more convenience. Best of all, no glue is required for final assembly, so you can have the T-28 Trojan 1.2m ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery!

The T-28 Trojan 1.2m is equipped with an exclusive Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite ESC that can provide a variety of real-time telemetry data from the propulsion system. Including motor RPM, current, battery voltage and more with Smart and non-Smart batteries - via compatible receivers (including AR631) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and others).

Versatile performance
The factory-installed brushless power system features a 70-amp Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite ESC and a custom-tuned motor and 3-blade propeller that delivers plenty of thrust with a 3S LiPo battery or more speed and virtually unlimited vertical climb with a 4S battery, with no modifications or upgrades required.
