Our Industrial Group Murphy Team is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join them.
You will be responsible for the site supply chain performance.This includes coordination with other departments to support site needs and upstream supplier integration into the product build and delivery value stream. You will report to the Sector Supply Chain Manager in Murphy, North Carolina.
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will…
Ensures customer needs are met by coordinating and communicating with the rest of the Supply Chain organization and collaborating with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to ensure on time delivery of purchased product and services to support on time deliveries required to meet customer schedules (including expediting and delivery assurance).
Determine and communicate site priorities to the Sector Supply Chain Manager and the rest of the organization including managing DDMRP (Demand Driven MRP) buffers and site purchased inventory.
Supply Chain representative in the Site's Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process.Oversee placement of POs in accordance with contractual Terms & Conditions and Moog processes (government and regulatory).
Ensure proper upstream supplier integration (e.g., demand visibility, lean/flow materials management, managing & automation of procurement process) and be the coordinating interface with site logistics.Monitor obsolescence management to minimize cost impact as well as safety stock levels.
Represents Supply Chain for tier-board reviews and Supply Chain customer audits/process assessments.
Supports Sector SC Manager insimplifying and streamlining Supply Chain and improving inventory position, including 80/20 and other Inventory Management initiatives.
To be considered for the Supply Chain Manager role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelors of Sciencedegree in the field of Business, Material Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related fields with > 5-7 years of progressive experience (usually post-education) in the field of supply chain management in a manufacturing environment
Minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory/management position.
Proven team leadership and people management skills; strategic thinking; capabilities in negotiations, government contracts.
Ability to access to US export-controlled information.
